This new glibc ebuild works with Sun Java and IBM Java 2.0; the --enable-kernel=2.4.0
feature increases performance slightly but kills Java at the moment. Let's remove it
for now and add it back once Sun and IBM have fixed their JVMs. The problem is related
to libpthread, so it's very possible that upgrading to IBM next-gen threads will fix
this one. The problem as I understand it is related to the default thread stack size.
