This removes a trailing whitespace, forces zfs to rebuilt on every build until a
better fix is added and also re-enables broadcom-sta support.

For the new naming schemes, TIMESTAMP was exceeding the 32 char limit on
volid. Let's just use DATESTAMP instead.

XFS is the FS we recommend in the handbook nowadays and xfsdump is a useful
backup/admin tool.
